Queensland Health is offering a Midwifery Cadetship in Mackay for Indigenous people to consolidate skills through formal full time tertiary studies while employed as a cadet.
The role provides on-the-job training and aligns with the Nurses and Midwives Award requirements.The program supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples studying nursing and/or midwifery to understand the health system and skilled practice within it.
