Ivanhoe Periodontics & Implant Centre is a well-established and growing Specialist Practice located in Heidelberg Victoria.We are seeking an enthusiastic, friendly and self-motivated Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our team.Our team consists of three Periodontists, supported by our friendly dental assistants and reception staff and practice manager.We are looking for an all-rounder who is confident working across both dental assisting and reception and is committed to providing exceptional patient care.Your role will include common dental assisting and reception tasks, including:Assisting with periodontal procedures, including implant surgery and periodontal surgeryPreparation of treatment roomsMaintaining accurate and detailed clinical recordsSterilisation and preparation of instruments according to infection control guidelinesProviding exceptional patient careAnswering phones and assisting with patient enquiriesManaging appointments and the practice scheduleProcessing patient accounts and payments including HICAPSAssisting with the smooth day-to-day running of the practiceOther reception and admin dutiesAbout youWe are looking for someone who:Has a minimum Certificate III in Dental AssistingHas experience in both dental assisting and receptionIs confident answering phones and managing appointmentsHas experience with patient accounts and HICAPSIs organised, reliable and self-motivatedHas excellent communication and interpersonal skillsIs friendly, skilled and well-presentedIs a adaptable all-rounder who enjoys working as part of a teamTakes pride in providing a high standard of patient careThe position offers * hours per week, across 2–3 days per week.
