About This Position

Australia’s first Saizeriya is opening at Highpoint Shopping Centre — and we’re hiring!

Join the opening team of one of Japan’s best-known casual dining brands. Earn from $33.85 per hour plus applicable weekend and public holiday penalty rates, with training provided and no previous hospitality experience required.

Saizeriya operates more than 1,500 restaurants across Japan and Asia. Now, the brand is bringing its affordable Italian-style dining experience to Australia, with its first restaurant scheduled to open in November 2026.

We’re looking for energetic, reliable and customer-focused casual staff to help welcome our first customers in Australia.

Your role will include customer service, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and assisting with food preparation.

Position Details

- Location: Highpoint Shopping Centre, Maribyrnong VIC 3032
- Employment: Casual
- Pay: From $33.85 per hour, plus applicable weekend and public holiday penalty rates
- Expected hours: 10–25 hours per week
- Work arrangement: On-site
- Availability: Daytime, evening, weekend and public holiday shifts
- RSA: Valid Victorian RSA certificate required

What does your next role look like?

Make guests feel welcome

- Greet guests warmly and help them with the menu
- Take food and drink orders accurately using the POS system
- Serve food and drinks with a friendly, positive attitude

Keep service moving

- Clear and reset tables efficiently during busy periods
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately
- Communicate with teammates to keep service running smoothly

Support food preparation and restaurant operations

- Assist with food preparation
- Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming restaurant
- Help the team prepare for daily service

Essential

- A valid Victorian RSA certificate
- Flexibility to work across daytime, evening, weekend and public holiday shifts

- A reliable, customer-focused approach

Desirable

- Previous experience in a fast-paced café, bar or restaurant

No previous hospitality experience? That’s fine. Training will be provided to help you learn the role.

Working Hour

Casual employment, with expected hours of 10–25 per week. Daytime, evening, weekend and public holiday shifts may be required.

Salary range

From $33.85 per hour, plus applicable weekend and public holiday penalty rates.

Working flexibility

On-site restaurant work with flexibility required across different shifts.

Start From

November 2026 (new restaurant opening). Exact commencement and training dates will be confirmed by Saizeriya.
