Position Description
Reporting to the Shared Services Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing a portfolio of customer accounts and outstanding debtors
- Conducting collections activity across overdue accounts
- Following up outstanding payments and maintaining payment arrangements
- Processing customer payments and account reconciliations
- Reviewing and setting up new accounts and customers, including the completion of credit checks
- Building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- Responding to account queries and resolving issues promptly
- Ad hoc tasks as required to assist the broader finance team
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will have proven Accounts Receivable and/or Credit experience within a large scale organisation, as well as the following attributes:
- Must have excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to multi task with excellent time management and organisational skills
- Desire to hit the ground running with a proactive approach to your day to day tasks
- A positive can-do attitude with a passion for completing daily responsibilities to a high standard
- Intermediate excel skills and prior experience using large ERP systems
