One of Canberra's oldest transport Company's is seeking an experienced HR Tautliner Driver to join our transport operations team. This is a full-time position based in Queanbeyan, NSW. As a HR Tautliner Driver, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining HR tautliner vehicles, ensuring secure and timely delivery of goods whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. This role is critical to our logistics operations and directly impacts our ability to serve our clients effectively.
Key responsibilities
- Operate HR tautliner vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all road transport regulations and company policies
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report any mechanical issues or defects
- Ensure your loads are secured and unloaded in accordance with safety protocols and customer requirements
- Communicate effectively with depot manager , warehouse staff and customers regarding deliveries
- Support team members and contribute to a positive workplace culture
What we're looking for
- Must be able to drive a manual vehicle
- Experience operating a tautliner
- Forklift license an advantage
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks as there may be occasional hand unloads
- Monday to Friday position
- Start as casual leading to a permanent position
