We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic team member to join our team on a permanent full time basic at our Hindmarsh warehouse.
About the role:
As the Warehouse 2IC, you will play an important role in the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. This is a hands-on position suitable for someone who enjoys fast-paced workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Occasional deliveries via the company vehicle
- Assist with directing warehouse operations throughout the day
- Working across all areas of warehouse operations - Pick packing, organising couriers, dispatch and customer service.
- Ensure stock from local suppliers or branch transfers are enacted efficiently.
- Ensure general warehouse maintenance is performed to provide a No.1 warehouse environment for customers and staff.
- Ensure branch is clean,
safe and presented well at all times.
About you
- Valid and Current Driver Licence
- Valid and Current Forklift Licence
- Previous experience in pick-packing, dispatch and or general warehousing
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Physically fit and able to carry heavy items and follow correct manual handling procedures
