Group Finance Manager prospect working for a large, established technology business located in North Sydney. The role has been created due to growth of two divisions and there is a high chance of moving to permanent for the right candidate.

The Role

Reporting to the CFO, you will take ownership of all group reporting activities, ensuring accurate, timely and compliant financial outcomes. You will lead a team of eight, driving best‑practice processes, strengthening controls and supporting the business through a period of continued expansion. This role suits a technically strong finance leader with proven consolidation experience, exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to operate confidently in a fast‑paced technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee group consolidation across several entities, ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance
- Lead and mentor a team of 8,



fostering capability development and high‑performance culture
- Deliver monthly, quarterly and annual group reporting, including analysis, commentary and insights
- Manage group‑level financial controls, reconciliations and governance
- Partner with senior stakeholders across finance, operations and technology
- Support audit processes, statutory reporting and compliance requirements
- Drive process improvements across the group finance function
- Contribute to systems optimisation and reporting enhancements as the business scales

Your Profile

You will be an experienced, qualified finance leader with group consolidation and reporting experience. You will ideally have experience working in technology, SAAS or a similar industry and be able to start immediately or on short notice.
