We are seeking a dedicated Practice Nurse to join our healthcare team in Warners Bay, NSW. This is an excellent opportunity for an Enrolled Nurse (EEN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to make a meaningful impact in a general medical and surgical nursing environment. You will work closely with medical practitioners and the broader clinical team to deliver high-quality patient care in a primary healthcare setting. This position offers the chance to develop your nursing practice whilst supporting patients across a range of medical and surgical conditions.

Key responsibilities

- Providing direct patient care and clinical support under medical supervision within the primary healthcare setting.
- Conducting patient assessments and vital sign monitoring.
- Assisting with clinical procedures and wound care management.
- Administering medications and injections as per clinical protocols and legislative requirements.
- Maintaining accurate and timely patient records and documentation.
- Supporting health promotion and patient education initiatives.
- Maintaining a clean and safe clinical environment in accordance with infection control standards.




- Collaborating effectively with medical practitioners and other healthcare professionals.
- Managing general administrative tasks related to patient care and clinic operations.

What we're looking for

- Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse (EEN) or Registered Nurse (RN) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Demonstrated experience in general medical or surgical nursing practice
- Strong clinical knowledge and practical skills in patient assessment and care delivery
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Proven ability to manage time effectively and prioritise patient care needs
- Current understanding of infection control, health and safety, and privacy legislation
- Qualified approach to patient confidentiality and duty of care
- Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education
- Desirable: Experience in primary healthcare or general practice nursing settings
