We are looking for a warm, experienced and dedicated psychologist to join our growing team as an independent practitioner.

We currently have established diary capacity available and are particularly interested in hearing from psychologists who enjoy working with adolescents and adults. There is also flexibility to work across other age groups and presenting concerns according to your clinical interests and experience.

This opportunity may suit a Clinical Psychologist, Registered Psychologist or Clinical Psychology Registrar looking for greater flexibility and autonomy, without having to manage the administrative demands of private practice alone.

Whether you are looking for two days or up to five days per week, we can work with you to create a schedule that suits your qualified and personal commitments.

Wise Mind Psychology Newcastle is a modern, purpose-built psychology practice located in New Lambton. What We Offer:

- Genuine flexibility – Choose a 2 to 5-day workweek, with full-day, half-day, AM or PM scheduling blocks available.

- Strong earning potential – Earn approximately $150–$180 per clinical hour, subject to caseload and billing arrangements.

- Established diary capacity – Opportunities are currently available for clinicians interested in working with adolescents and adults, alongside referrals across children and families.

About You:

We would love to hear from psychologists who:

- Bring a compassionate and enthusiastic approach to their clinical work.

- Value solid therapeutic relationships and collaborative care.

- Are comfortable liaising with families, referrers and other professionals where clinically appropriate.

- Develop individualised, evidence-based treatment plans responsive to each client's needs.

- Value ongoing personal and professional development.

- Enjoy working autonomously while also being part of a collaborative qualified environment.

- Demonstrate reliability, strong organisation and effective time management.

- Communicate professionally and complete reports, correspondence and clinical documentation in a timely manner.

- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with qualified, ethical and legal obligations.

Essential Criteria:

- Current registration with the Psychology Board of Australia/AHPRA.

- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).

- Current Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance, or willingness to obtain.

- Medicare provider registration, or eligibility to apply.

- Current National Police Check (National Police Certificate)

- Valid Australian Business Number (ABN)
