Warehouse & Gym Equipment Technician

Aussie Fitness Equipment | Buderim, Sunshine Coast

Casual | Opportunity to Progress into Full-Time Warehouse Management

About the Role

We’re looking for a reliable, hands‑on and mechanically minded person to join our team at Aussie Fitness Equipment.

This role is primarily focused on warehouse operations, gym equipment assembly, installations and deliveries.

You’ll be working with everything from home gym equipment to large commercial machines, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys practical work, is confident using tools and takes pride in keeping things organised and running smoothly.

For the right person, there’s genuine opportunity to grow into a full-time Warehouse Manager position as our business continues to expand.

What You’ll Do

- Receive, unload and organise incoming stock.
- Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
- Maintain an organised, safe and productive warehouse.
- Assist with inventory management and stock control.
- Assemble, deliver and install gym equipment.
- Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and assist with repairs.
- Coordinate freight, deliveries and customer collections.
- Support the showroom team when required.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

- Mechanically minded and confident using hand and power tools.
- Reliable, organised and takes initiative.

- Physically capable of safely handling heavy and bulky equipment.
- Comfortable working independently and within a small team.
- Practical, adaptable and a good problem solver.
- Interested in taking on more responsibility as the business grows.

Experience in warehousing, equipment assembly, installations, deliveries or a similar hands‑on role is highly regarded.

A current driver’s licence is essential. A forklift licence is an advantage.

An interest in fitness is a bonus, but a great attitude, practical ability and willingness to learn are most important.

Hours & Career Progression

This is initially a casual position, with hours discussed based on availability and business needs.

We’re looking for someone interested in a long‑term opportunity, with genuine potential to progress into a full‑time Warehouse Manager role, overseeing warehouse operations, stock management and logistics.
