Restaurant Manager– Gami Korean Chicken & BBQ (Moonee Ponds)

About Us

Gami Korean Chicken is one of Australia’s leading Korean fried chicken brands, known for authentic flavours, warm hospitality, and a vibrant dining experience. As we open our newest restaurant in Moonee Ponds, we’re seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to support the Opening Phase and grow with us with the view to take on an even bigger role in the near future!

This role suits someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys leading teams, and wants to grow with a national brand.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training of the team

- Assist in setting up service systems, FOH processes, and customer experience standards

- Work closely with the franchise support team to ensure a smooth launch

- Lead daily FOH operations to ensure seamless, high‑quality service

- Maintain strong customer satisfaction and manage complaint resolution

- Support the coaching of FOH staff to uphold Gami culture and service standards

- Assist with roster planning and labour cost control

- Support inventory accuracy, stock rotation, and supplier ordering





- Ensure compliance with RSA, food safety, allergen management, and brand standards

- Drive sales performance through product knowledge and upselling

- Contribute to continuous improvement across service, efficiency, and team culture

What We’re Looking For

- Positive attitude and a continuous improvement mindset

- Minimum 2 years of hospitality supervisory or leadership experience

- Strong communication and leadership skills; fluent in English

- Valid working visa with at least 3 years remaining

- RSA and Allergen Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

- Experience with hospitality POS systems and KPI-driven operations

- Excellent time management, problem-solving, and team-building ability

- Hands‑on approach with a commitment to high service standards
