Cathcart Smash Repairs is seeking a skilled Full Time Panel Beater or 3rd/4th year Apprentice Panel Beater to join our team in Bendigo, VIC. This is a full time position offering an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise in automotive panel beating within a respected local business. What you'll be doing

- Assessing vehicle damage and determining the most efficient repair methods
- Removing and reshaping damaged panels using specialised hand and power tools
- Welding and bonding panels to restore vehicles to their original condition
- Preparing panels for painting by ensuring surfaces are smooth and properly finished
- Working collaboratively with other members of the workshop team.
- Following safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organised work environment
- Recording work completed and maintaining accurate job documentation
- Contributing to continuous improvement of workshop practices and efficiency

What we're looking for

- A completed apprenticeship in panel beating or be in the 3rd or 4th year of an active apprenticeship
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools and specialised panel beating equipment
- Knowledge of welding and bonding techniques for vehicle panel repair




- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
- A solid understanding of automotive safety standards and workshop procedures
- Reliability and punctuality
- Current driver's license (preferred)
