About the Role

National Hotel Complex is seeking enthusiastic, reliable and motivated Kitchen Hands and Restaurant & Bar Staff to join our friendly hospitality team in Bendigo, Victoria.

These casual positions offer flexible working arrangements and an opportunity to be part of a busy, welcoming hotel workplace.

You will play an important role in delivering excellent customer service, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation, and ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, restaurant and bar. Whether you're supporting our kitchen team, serving guests or assisting with bar operations, you'll help create a positive and memorable experience for our patrons.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with kitchen duties, food preparation and maintaining a clean, organised workspace.
- Support restaurant and bar operations, including serving customers and clearing tables.
- Provide friendly, professional and efficient customer service.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and comply with workplace procedures.
- Assist with other duties as required.

About You

We're looking for people who are enthusiastic about hospitality and committed to being part of a supportive team.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous hospitality experience, preferably in a kitchen,



restaurant or bar environment (desirable but not essential).
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive communication, teamwork and organisational skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Reliability, punctuality and a professional approach.
- A friendly attitude and a genuine commitment to customer service.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Food safety knowledge or relevant qualifications are advantageous. Experience with TAB, KENO or similar services is also beneficial for relevant positions, but training may be provided to suitable applicants.
