BRIEF DESCRIPTION:

Make an impact through people, culture and community health.

At Holstep Health, building a thriving workforce is a key part of our strategic direction. We want our people to feel supported, connected and empowered to deliver services that make a difference in our community.

We’re looking for an experienced People & Culture Business Partner to help bring this direction to life, partnering with our Client Services leaders to strengthen leadership capability, navigate workforce challenges and build a positive workplace culture.

Reporting to the Manager People & Culture, you’ll join our P&C; team and work closely with senior leaders across a diverse client services portfolio. This role offers a mix of strategic and operational work, with opportunities to shape people initiatives while providing practical advice on day-to-day challenges.

You’ll build trusted relationships with leaders, understand their service priorities and help translate these into effective people practices. Your work will include:

- Providing advice and coaching across employee and industrial relations, performance management, workforce planning and recruitment.
- Supporting leaders through organisational change, consultation and workforce integration.
- Managing complex employee matters, including investigations, grievances and conflict resolution.

- Strengthening leadership capability and supporting employee engagement and a positive workplace culture.
- Contributing to P&C; projects, policies and continuous improvement initiatives across Holstep Health.

ABOUT YOU:

You’re an experienced HR business partner who combines sound judgement with a practical, collaborative approach. You’re comfortable navigating complex matters, having constructive conversations and helping leaders find workable solutions.

You’ll bring strong knowledge of employment legislation and industrial instruments, confidence in managing employee relations matters, and the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels. You can balance competing priorities while keeping people, service needs and organisational values at the centre of your advice.

Experience working in a health care environment would be highly beneficial, particularly an understanding of the workforce challenges and service demands within the sector.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

- Minimum five (5) years’ experience in a similar HRBP/management role.
- Advanced understanding of industrial legislation and ability to manage change within a complex and challenging IR environment.
- Strong communication skills with a proven ability to positively influence through effective mediation, facilitation and negotiation.

- Demonstrated effective skills in communication, team building and conflict resolution.
- High quality analytical, oral and written communication and interpersonal skills; and the ability to liaise with staff in a multi-disciplinary setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building capacity with the ability to sustain relationships and build cooperation.
- Demonstrated understanding of and alignment with the values that underpin the organisation and the capacity to take a leadership role in promoting these throughout Holstep Health.
- A core commitment to act respectfully with fairness, integrity and transparency in serving the best interests of all stakeholders.
- Forward thinking and proactive leadership that leads by example and empowers teams and individual staff to create and drive innovation. Position Description
- Ability to work collaboratively with senior leaders through open communication and shared decision making and accountability.

Appointment is subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks and meeting the requirements outlined in the position description.
