Due to continued growth and demand for our services, ABV Inspections Pty Ltd has an immediate career opportunity for a multi skilled Pressure Vessel Inspector/ NDT technician based in our Sydney Office. This is a Full Time Permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will be required to carry out NDT/ Pressure Vessel Inspections
- Liaise with clients and provide recommendations and advice where required
- Prepare and complete detailed inspection reports and other documentation
- Ensure that all company equipment issued is maintained in a serviceable condition at all times and is calibrated where required
- Ensure that proper safety precautions are strictly followed
- An ability to contribute and to work as part of a team environment
- A willingness to continue with further training and education where required
Requirements:
- AICIP or API 510 qualifications would be highly regarded
- AINDT, PCN or ISO 9712 Level 2 certification in UT, MT & PT
- A working knowledge of relevant Australian Standards relating to pressure equipment is essential
- Industry experience in inspection of pressure equipment
- Confined Space Entry Training Certificate
- Hold a NSW Construction White Card
- Strong communication skills and strong English language skills both written and verbal
- Australian Government Permanent Resident Status as a minimum
- Ability to contribute and work as part of a team environment as well as provide leadership on projects when required
- A robust ability to work unsupervised and to job manage where required. Strong problem solving skills are essential
- Proficient computer skills is an essential requirement
- A willingness to travel regularly to different locations as required including interstate and overseas locations. Candidates must be willing to work away for up to 1 week per month.

A fully Maintained company vehicle, mobile phone, uniforms and PPE, laptop computer and all tools and equipment required are provided to the successful candidate.
ABV Inspections offer a very attractive remuneration package which is based on formal qualifications and progression is ongoing throughout your employment based on obtaining additional skills and experience. Overtime is available and employees will be required to work a reasonable amount of overtime, both scheduled and ad- hoc.
