The Opportunity

Trippas White Group is seeking an experienced andcommercially driven Event Sales Manager to lead event sales activity across thepremium hospitality and event spaces at the Australian War Memorial.

This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished eventsales professional who knows how to turn enquiries into successful events,build strong client relationships and identify new business opportunities.

The role will focus on securing corporate, government,association, tourism, commemorative and private event business, whiledelivering an exceptional client experience from initial enquiry through tobooking.

What you'll be doing:

- Generate new business opportunities and convertenquiries into confirmed bookings.




- Conduct professional venue inspections andclient presentations.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, contracts andevent packages.
- Develop strong relationships with corporate,government and tourism clients.
- Coordinate event requirements with culinary,operations, venue and security teams.
- Ensure events comply with venue guidelines andoperational requirements.
- Maintain accurate CRM and iVvy records,forecasts and sales reporting.
- Drive revenue, venue utilisation, repeatbusiness and client satisfaction.

About you

- A minimum of 3 years' experience in event sales,hospitality sales or venue sales.
- Robust negotiation, communication andpresentation skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and commercialacumen.
- Experience working with CRM and event managementsystems.
- Knowledge of the Canberra government andcorporate market is desirable.
- A professional, customer-focused andcollaborative approach.
- The ability to work respectfully within theunique heritage and significance of the Australian War Memorial.

What success looks like:

Success in this role will be measured through achievement ofrevenue targets, enquiry conversion, growth in venue utilisation, client satisfaction, repeat business andaccurate sales documentation.
