Allied Health Manager – Westmead Rehabilitation Hospital

Westmead Rehabilitation Hospital, a leading provider of comprehensive rehabilitation services, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Allied Health Manager to join their dynamic team. This full-time role is located in South Wentworthville, NSW and will play a pivotal part in overseeing the delivery of exceptional allied health services to our patients.

What you'll be doing

- Providing strategic leadership and management of the allied health team, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, and other allied health professionals
- Ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based allied health services that meet the diverse needs of our rehabilitation patients
- Developing and implementing effective allied health policies, procedures, and clinical protocols
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives and fostering a culture of innovation within the allied health department
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualised rehabilitation plans
- Overseeing the effective management of allied health resources, including staffing, budgets, and equipment
- Providing mentorship, supervision, and professional development opportunities for the allied health team
- Representing the allied health department in hospital-wide meetings and initiatives

What we're looking for

- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant allied health discipline (e.g., physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology)
- Extensive experience (minimum 5 years) in a management or leadership role within a healthcare setting




- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a multidisciplinary allied health team
- Strong clinical expertise and a deep understanding of evidence-based rehabilitation practices
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
- Proven track record in driving continuous improvement and implementing innovative solutions
- Proficient in data analysis and the use of performance metrics to inform decision-making
- Registration with the relevant allied health skilled body (e.g., AHPRA)
