Clayfield Kitchen Designs is seeking an experienced Estimator/Sales Rep to join our dynamic team in the cabinetmaking industry. This is a full-time position based in Narangba, QLD 4504. As an Estimator/Sales Rep, you will be the crucial link between our clients and our production team, responsible for accurately quoting projects, nurturing client relationships, and driving sales growth. This role is pivotal to our business success, combining technical expertise with exceptional customer service to deliver outstanding results and build lasting partnerships with residential and commercial clients.

What you'll be doing

Conduct site visits and measure spaces to provide accurate and detailed project assessments

Prepare comprehensive quotations and estimates for kitchen and cabinet projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness

Consult with clients to understand their design preferences, budget requirements and project timelines

Present design options and recommendations to clients, effectively communicating product benefits and value

Negotiate pricing and terms whilst maintaining healthy profit margins and customer satisfaction

Build and maintain strong relationships with both existing and prospective clients through professional and personalised service

Liaise closely with the production and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution

Track sales pipeline and maintain accurate records of all quotations, proposals and client interactions

Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base





Provide ongoing support to clients throughout the project lifecycle to ensure satisfaction and encourage referrals

What we’re looking for

Proven experience in sales or estimating within the cabinetmaking, kitchen design, or furniture manufacturing industry (minimum 3-5 years preferred)

Strong knowledge of cabinet construction, materials, finishes and design specifications

Proficiency in measuring and interpreting design plans and technical drawings





Experience with estimating software and CAD systems (or willingness to develop these skills)

Excellent mathematical and calculation abilities to produce accurate quotes and costings

Demonstrated sales track record with the ability to close deals and achieve targets

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse clients

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all documentation and estimates

Professional presentation skills and a customer-focused mindset

Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel for site visits

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
