Due to sustained growth, Drax Australia is adding another member to our sales team. We are looking for an experienced B2B sales professional to look after Queensland, starting with an established client base built over 25 years, and then grow the territory in your own right.

Who we are

Drax Australia is a long standing Australian commercial gym equipment business, with roots back to 1976 as Calgym and later Synergy Fitness. Today we are part of DRAX Inc., a South Korean manufacturer with direct operations in 5 countries and distribution partners in 43.

We are an approved supplier to leading national fitness groups and we supply local government, with the tender systems and software that councils require. Customers regularly tell us our warranty and service support is among the best in the industry.

About the role

- Look after and grow our Queensland client base, including health clubs and franchises, councils and aquatic centres, universities and schools, hotels, developers and sporting organisations
- Win new business through prospecting, networking, site visits and relationships with architects and developers
- Present gym design and equipment solutions, and manage quotes, tenders and projects through to delivery with our internal team
- Report directly to the Director,



with hands on support from our CEO and leadership team as you get started
- Cover Queensland, with regular travel across South East Queensland and the Northern Rivers region of NSW. Base yourself at our Ormeau head office or work from home

About you

- 2 or more years of B2B sales experience with a track record of winning recent business
- A consultative approach and confidence presenting to decision makers over longer sales cycles
- Fitness industry experience is an advantage, but any B2B sales experience is welcome
- Organised, and comfortable with CRM systems and Microsoft Office. Training on our gym design software is provided
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a high performing national team
- A proactive, self-motivated attitude that is results driven and goal focused
- Your own reliable vehicle and a current Australian driver licence
- A genuine interest in health and fitness and living an active lifestyle

What we offer

- Base salary of $70,000–$80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a travel allowance.
- Uncapped commission, with an OTE of $120,000–$140,000 per annum. OTE includes base salary and target commission; actual earnings will depend on sales performance.
