The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the organisation’s computer networks and systems, ensuring reliable day-to-day operation and providing technical assistance when required.

Task & responsibilities

- Designing, developing, and reviewing system architectures, technical specifications, data models, and diagrams for computer system integration and configuration.
- Evaluating network infrastructure and performance to ensure reliable and efficient network operations.
- Identifying opportunities to improve network functionality, hardware, software, communication systems, and operating systems.
- Diagnosing and resolving network faults, technical issues, and system emergencies.
- Installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining network equipment, servers, workstations,



software, and database applications.
- Developing and implementing network solutions to meet specific business and operational requirements.
- Maintaining network documentation, inventory records, fault reports, system updates, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Monitoring network traffic, capacity, usage, and activity to maintain system security, stability, and optimal performance.

Qualification & experience

A Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering or a closely related field.

A minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in a similar position. Strong knowledge of computer networks, system architecture, network infrastructure and network security. Good analytical, problem-solving, communication and organisational skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
