FINGUARD FINANCIAL SERVICES PTY LTD 107 Miles Platting Road, Eight Mile Plains, QLD 4113 Full Time Insurance Broker $80,000 to $90,000 + superannuation 38 hours per week Duties and Responsibilities

- Assess clients’ insurance needs, financial circumstances and risk exposures to identify suitable cover.
- Research and compare insurance policies, premiums, exclusions and perks across insurers.
- Provide advice on insurance products and recommend appropriate coverage.
- Negotiate policy terms, premiums and coverage with insurers on behalf of clients.
- Prepare quotations, insurance proposals and supporting documentation, and arrange policy placement.
- Manage policy renewals, amendments and cancellations, ensuring cover remains appropriate to clients’ needs.
- Assist clients with insurance claims and liaise with insurers throughout the claims process.
- Maintain accurate client records and comply with applicable regulatory,



disclosure and professional requirements.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, insurers and underwriters.

Required Skills

- Diploma or Advance Diploma in closely relevant field is highly preferred with minimum of 12 months employment experience in the relevant field
- Strong verbal and written skills to explain insurance options, policy terms and exclusions clearly.
- Ability to negotiate competitive premiums, suitable coverage and policy terms with insurers.
- Accuracy in preparing quotations, applications and policy documentation.
- Sound understanding of insurance products, underwriting processes and relevant compliance obligations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, client management systems and insurance platforms

English – Knowledge of additional languages other than English will be an asset
