Role Description: The English Tutor role at English Excellence HSC is a completely remote position based in NSW, working directly with secondary school students preparing for HSC English. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging lessons, explaining key concepts from the HSC curriculum, and guiding students through essay writing, textual analysis, and exam preparation.

The tutor will assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching strategies to suit diverse learning needs.



Additional tasks may include answering and communicating with parents and students between classes.

Qualifications

- Are a driven HSC graduate with a 90+ result in English.
- Sound understanding of the NSW HSC English curriculum and assessment requirements.
- Demonstrated skills in lesson planning and one-on-one or small-group instruction.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly, provide constructive feedback, and support students of varying abilities.
- Relevant tutoring experience with secondary students.
- Ability to take on and apply feedback from overseeing management/lead tutors.
- Strong organisational skills and professionalism in an educational setting.
