We're looking for a hands-on, solutions-focused Site Engineer to support our construction and installation activities on the Snowy 2.0 project. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic site environment, collaborate with experienced project teams and play a key role in delivering complex mechanical and structural installation works.

Working closely with the Site and Project Managers, you'll help keep construction activities on track, resolve technical challenges and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

What You'll Be Doing

- Provide day-to-day engineering and technical support to site operations.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and construction documentation.
- Coordinate construction activities, work sequencing, materials and resources.
- Monitor progress against project schedules and report on productivity.
- Coordinate inspections, testing, quality records, ITPs and technical documentation.
- Identify technical issues, construction risks and potential delays, escalating where required.
- Support site safety, quality assurance and compliance requirements.




- Work with supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers and client representatives to achieve project milestones.

What you'll bring

- A recognised degree in Mechanical, Structural or a relevant Engineering discipline.
- Experience in a site-based engineering role within construction, infrastructure, heavy industry or mechanical installation.
- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- A practical, proactive approach and the confidence to work in a quick-paced site environment.
- The ability to commit to a 2 weeks on, 1 week off roster at Lobs Hole, NSW.

Experience in major infrastructure, hydro, tunnelling, energy, mining or SMP installation projects will be highly regarded. Why join Shadbolt Group?
