Role Description The Transport Allocation Support Role is a full-time, hybrid position based in Brisbane, QLD, with some work-from-home flexibility. This role supports daily transport allocations by coordinating driver schedules, assigning vehicles, and monitoring job progress to ensure timely and effective deliveries.

Responsibilities include updating transport management systems, confirming bookings, communicating with drivers and customers, and resolving allocation issues as they arise. The role also involves maintaining accurate records of runs, delivery times, and fleet availability,



as well as assisting with route planning and load optimization. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with operations, drivers, and customer service teams to uphold STL’s high standards of service and support continuous improvement in transport processes.

Qualifications

- Experience in transport, logistics, or fleet coordination, with the ability to manage schedules, routes, and vehicle allocation.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills, including data entry accuracy and the ability to handle multiple tasks in fast-paced environments.
- Effective communication and customer service skills for liaising with drivers, internal teams, and clients in a clear and respectful manner.
- Competence with transport or logistics software, MS Office (especially Excel), and general computer literacy.
- Ability to analyze basic operational data, identify issues in allocations, and contribute to practical solutions.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and compliance standards.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work setting, managing time and priorities effectively.
- Relevant experience in transport or logistics support; a certificate or diploma in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is advantageous.
