BDW is a leading distributor of bathroom, kitchen and plumbing products, servicing customers across Australia. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Storeperson / High Reach Forklift Operator to join our fast-paced warehouse team.
About the Role
Working within a busy distribution environment, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of stock, order picking, replenishment, receipting, dispatch activities and maintaining inventory accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- High reach forklift operation in a fast-moving warehouse environment
- Putaway and replenishment of stock within double deep racking systems
- RF scanning for stock movements and inventory transactions
- Picking, packing and preparing customer orders
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Receiving inbound goods and dispatching outbound freight
- Inventory control and stock accuracy maintenance
- Following WHS procedures and maintaining a clean work area
- General warehouse duties as required
Essential Requirements
- Current LF Forklift Licence
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Proven experience operating high reach forklifts
- RF scanning experience
- Experience with picking, packing and stock movements
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse setting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Reliable work ethic and positive team attitude
Highly Regarded / Advantageous
- LO Order Picker Licence
- Experience working with double deep racking systems
- Experience using Pronto ERP
- Experience within the bathroom, kitchen, plumbing or building supplies industry
- Receiving and/or dispatch experience
- Previous experience working within a large distribution warehouse
- Knowledge of warehouse inventory management processes
