Network Tradies looks after residential, strata and commercial maintenance. This is a hands-on role for someone who can quote it, fix it and move on to the next job. The main focus is completing smaller handyman and maintenance jobs efficiently. You'll assess the job, work out what's required, provide a quote and, where approved, complete the work yourself. You'll manage your own jobs, communicate with customers and keep things moving without unnecessary delays. If you have the experience and confidence to identify, quote and win larger jobs, there's an opportunity to earn more with commission.
Key responsibilities
- Assess jobs and determine what work is required
- Provide quotes for work to customers
- Complete handyman and maintenance work including doors that don't close properly, locks that need replacing, fly screens that need repairing, windows that need attention and furniture that needs assembling
- Manage your own jobs from initial assessment through to completion
- Communicate with customers and keep things moving without unnecessary delays
- Identify opportunities to quote and win larger jobs
- Travel between jobs
About you
- Solid hands-on handyman or maintenance experience
- Ability to confidently assess a job,
price it fairly and complete the work
- Practical problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Good customer service and communication skills
- A sensible approach to quoting, time management and materials
- Takes pride in their work and doesn't need to be micromanaged
- Current driver's licence and the ability to travel between jobs
- Appropriate trade qualifications or licences where required for the work undertaken
