Bidfood is seeking a motivated Delivery Driver/ Storeperson to join our supportive, professional team. This practical and fast-paced role combines warehouse work with local deliveries, helping to keep cafés, kitchens and hospitality venues stocked and operating.

You will work across freezer, chiller and dry-store environments, balancing a consistent daily routine with plenty of variety. From assembling orders and managing stock to delivering safely and building trusted customer relationships, your work will play an important part in providing reliable service.

About the role

You will support both our warehouse and delivery operations, representing Bidfood through accurate order fulfilment, safe deliveries and friendly customer service.

Key responsibilities include:

- Pick and assemble customer orders accurately.

- Load trucks safely and efficiently.

- Complete multi-drop local deliveries safely and on schedule.

- Unload and place stock at customer locations.

- Provide friendly, professional service and build positive customer relationships.

- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and condition.

- Receive, put away and rotate inbound stock.

- Keep bin locations tidy and accurate.

- Uphold food safety, hygiene and workplace standards.

- Work overtime when required to meet operational demand.

Driver Training Program

An existing MR or HR licence is advantageous,



but it is not essential for motivated candidates interested in building a career in transport and warehousing.

Through Bidfood Yatala’s Driver Training Program, suitable candidates may be considered for the opportunity to obtain an HR licence and receive training through the company. This pathway is designed for people who are ready to learn, work hard and develop their skills for a long-term career.

About you

You are dependable, punctual and hardworking, with a practical approach and pride in doing the job properly. You enjoy physical work, stay focused in a fast-paced environment and work well with others.

You also understand the importance of great customer service. You are confident and courteous behind the wheel, communicate well and enjoy a friendly conversation with customers while maintaining a professional approach.

Skills and experience

- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.

- Good communication and time-management skills.

- Comfortable working across freezer, chiller and dry-store areas.

- Warehouse or Storeperson experience is advantageous.

- A forklift licence with reach experience is highly regarded.

- An existing MR or HR licence is highly regarded, but not essential for motivated candidates who may be considered for the Driver Training Program.
