Your Organization
Our client is growing an already high-performing People team and is looking to add another experienced Senior HR Business Partner.
This isn't a role where you'll spend your day applying rigid frameworks or waiting for work to land. They need someone who enjoys getting amongst the business, building relationships and helping leaders work through the people challenges that come with a growing and evolving organisation.
You'll partner across a portfolio that includes professional, design, product, finance and leadership teams. Some leaders will need a quick sense-check or reassurance. Others will benefit from more hands-on coaching as they build their confidence and capability.
This is a role where you can genuinely influence how leaders lead. You’ll provide the coaching, guidance and practical support that helps them build confidence, handle challenges and get the best from their people.
What you’ll be doing
Building trusted relationships with senior leaders and their leadership teams
Coaching managers through performance, ER and challenging conversations
Helping leaders prepare for conversations, understand the "why" and develop their own capability rather than simply handing issues to HR
Supporting change initiatives and potential restructures over the coming 6 to 12 months
Developing clear, practical change plans and supporting implementation
Guiding workforce planning and organisational design discussions
Driving leadership development and capability uplift
Supporting recruitment where needed
Creating a proactive cadence with leaders so HR can get ahead of issues rather than continually react to them
Helping leaders work out where work and responsibilities should sit
Moving comfortably between day-to-day matters and bigger organisational priorities
About you
You know what good business partnering looks like. You’ve developed the credibility to work confidently with senior leaders, the ER knowledge to navigate challenging situations and the judgement to know when to coach, when to challenge and when to simply provide reassurance.
Now, you’re looking for a role where you’ll be trusted to use that experience, given autonomy and have the opportunity to make a genuine difference.
You’re someone who:
Can operate effectively without extensive processes or collateral around you
Is comfortable when the answer isn't immediately black and white
Can context-switch without losing sight of priorities
Builds credibility with capable, professional stakeholders
Knows how to challenge while maintaining the relationship
Enjoys coaching leaders and seeing them become more confident
Can balance reassurance with holding leaders accountable
Takes a practical approach to change and implementation
Is comfortable trying an approach, learning quickly and changing course when needed
What's in it for you?
You'll be joining a solid team, delivering meaningful work ahead across change, leadership capability and organisational design, with the autonomy to shape how you partner with your portfolio.
You'll also have hybrid working, standard working hours and genuine work-life balance, making this an opportunity to do interesting senior-level work without an expectation that work needs to consume everything else.
Please submit your resume for consideration or for a confidential discussion
