Turn your potential into community impact
Start your career with hands-on experience across Blacktown City Council as a Graduate Project Management from mid-February 2027. Through structured rotations and project involvement across Council, you gain practical experience supporting projects that deliver community facilities, public spaces, infrastructure and services for a growing city.
You assist with project planning, research project issues, prepare reports and presentations, coordinate meetings and workshops, and maintain project documentation. You support procurement activities, track project actions, monitor progress against timeframes, and work with consultants, contractors and stakeholders to help keep projects on schedule.
Your work helps turn Council priorities into practical outcomes for the community. As projects move from planning through to delivery, you contribute to facilities, services and initiatives that improve the experience of residents, visitors and employees across Blacktown City. Along the way, you build skills in project management, stakeholder engagement, communication and project governance.
This opportunity suits a recent graduate who enjoys solving problems, coordinating activities and seeing projects progress from concept to completion.
You must have completed a degree in Construction Project Management or a related field by the commencement date or within the last 2 years and bring robust organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
At Blacktown City Council, good people make great teams, and great teams build great cities. Here, you will find the stability and support to keep growing, along with:
