We are looking for a Senior Horticulturist/Supervisor AND a Crew Member (2x positions) to be a part of a garden maintenance crew across a diverse range of Sydney gardens, from contemporary urban landscapes to native, ecological and habitat-focused spaces.

Supervisor - this role is ideal for an experienced horticulturist who wants to take more of a leadership role, deepen their knowledge of native plants, and be part of a supportive multidisciplinary team working across horticulture, landscape construction, bush regeneration and ecological design.

Crew member - this role is ideal for someone who has a strong interest and passion for native plants, some experience using power tools, and is currently/plans to start (in 2026) studying horticulture.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Assist (Supervisor - Lead) the horticulture team across regular garden maintenance projects

- Deliver high-quality garden care, including pruning, hedging, mowing, planting, weeding, mulching and seasonal maintenance

- Support the development of gardens as healthy,



resilient and ecologically functional landscapes

- Maintain tools, equipment, vehicles and irrigation systems to a professional standard

- Maintain strong safety, compliance, and quality standards

- Work alongside BUSHY’s landscape architecture, construction and bush regeneration teams where required.

- (Supervisor) Build strong relationships with clients through clear communication and reliable service

- (Supervisor) Mentor junior staff and help build their horticultural skills and confidence

About You

- (Supervisor 3+ years) in horticulture / garden maintenance

- (Supervisor) Experience in leading a small team and projects

- Certificate III in Horticulture, Parks and Gardens, Conservation and Land Management, or equivalent experience (or currently studying/planning to in 2026)

- NSW Driver Licence and Construction White Card

- Genuine interest in ecological restoration and its application in built landscapes

- Robust communication and problem-solving skills

- High attention to detail and pride in quality work

- Reliable, fit, and proactive
