Key responsibilities

Manage and develop relationships with an established portfolio of customers.

Manage customer relationships primarily from the office, with occasional face-to-face customer visits when required.

Respond to customer enquiries, provide product information and coordinate sales support.

Identify opportunities to increase sales within existing accounts and develop new customer relationships.

Prepare quotations, follow up opportunities and support customers throughout the sales process.

Work closely with internal sales, production and operations teams to meet customer expectations.

Maintain accurate customer records, sales activity and pipeline information in the CRM system.

Engage proactively with customers to understand upcoming projects and product requirements.

Support the Sales Manager in achieving sales targets and business growth objectives.

About you

Experience in account management, sales representation, customer service or internal sales.

Experience in manufacturing, building products, construction or a related industry (highly regarded).

Solid communication, relationship-building and organisational skills.

A proactive approach to customer service and identifying sales opportunities.

Confidence using Microsoft Office, CRM systems and sales administration software.

Willingness to undertake occasional local customer visits; a current driver's licence is preferred.

A positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to work collaboratively.
