About the role

This is a hands-on sales role where you'll be out on the road introducing Twisted Sista gelato range to cafés, restaurants, dessert venues, independent retailers and other foodservice businesses. You'll take samples into venues, meet owners and managers, follow up prospects and turn opportunities into ongoing wholesale customers. The role starts at 3 days per week, with the opportunity to increase your hours as your territory and customer portfolio grow.

Key responsibilities

- Visiting prospective customers across Melbourne
- Introducing and sampling the Twisted Sista gelato range
- Following up existing prospects and warm leads
- Finding and developing your own new business opportunities
- Converting prospects into ongoing wholesale accounts
- Building relationships with owners, managers and decision-makers
- Managing and growing the customers you bring onboard
- Keeping accurate records of leads, visits and follow-ups

About you

- Experience in foodservice, FMCG, hospitality, wholesale food, beverage, dairy or independent grocery sales would be ideal
- Strong hospitality or B2B experience with confidence talking to business owners and building relationships
- Confident, personable and self-motivated




- Comfortable walking into a business, starting a conversation, presenting a product and asking for the sale
- Organised, persistent without being pushy, and comfortable working independently on the road
- Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle are essential

Perks

- $32.50 per hour + superannuation
- $1.00 per kilometre vehicle allowance
- Uncapped commission: 2.5% on recent customers converted from prospects supplied by Twisted Sista; 4% on completely new customers that you identify and bring to the business yourself
- Commission continues on eligible paid invoices from recent customers you secure for 12 months

About us

Twisted Sista has been part of Melbourne's hospitality scene since 2011. Alongside our café and gelateria locations, we manufacture our own gelato and are expanding our wholesale foodservice business across Victoria. Our range includes classic favourites, artisan gelato, sorbets and foodservice products, with new flavours regularly developed and released.

Pay: $32.50 per hour

Expected hours: 22.5 – 38.0 per week
