Rate depends on qualifications and experience.

Section Waiter (30h-38h per week)
Monday- Friday $34.96, Saturday $41.96, Sunday $48.95,
Public Holiday $66.75 + Super + Tips

What are we looking for

- Minimum 2 years' experience in a Sommelier role or within a fine dining restaurant environment
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a Section Waiter role or within a fine dining restaurant environment
- WSET Level 2 or higher preferred, or equivalent professional wine knowledge and experience




- Solid understanding of Australian and international wine regions, varietals, vintages, and food pairing principles
- Confidence in recommending wines and delivering engaging tableside service
- Experience managing wine service, cellar organisation, stock control, and inventory processes
- Excellent communication and guest engagement skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with management, chefs, and front-of-house teams
- Valid RSA and full Australian working rights
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays

Your Day-to-Day Will Include

- Guiding guests through the wine list and providing tailored recommendations (For Sommelier)
- Delivering professional and engaging wine service throughout service
- Working closely with management and chefs to create exceptional food and wine experiences
- Assisting with cellar management, stock rotation, inventory, and ordering processes (For Sommelier)
- Maintaining wine lists and ensuring accurate product knowledge across the team (For Sommelier)
- Supporting the training and development of front-of-house staff in wine knowledge and service standards
- Building rapport with guests and contributing to an outstanding overall dining experience
- Following venue standards and service expectations consistently
