Transdev Australasia is seeking a skilled Fitter/Machinist to maintain and repair vessels at the Balmain Shipyard. You will work closely with Maintenance Supervisors on ship repair tasks, safety, and overtime when required. You may mentor apprentices and trade assistants, undertake hydraulic and propulsion system work, operate lathes and milling machines, and participate in call-out breakdown maintenance. This full time role is based in our Balmain shipyard and offers a stable Mon-Fri schedule.
