Healthcare Australia Doctors is seeking an experienced ED GP VMO for a series of overnight locum shifts at Inverell Hospital, NSW , across the Christmas and Current Year period.
This is an excellent opportunity for a doctor looking to secure well-paid holiday shifts, with the flexibility to discuss availability across the advertised dates.

Position Details

- Hospital: Inverell Hospital, NSW
- Role: Emergency Department GP VMO
- Rate: $3,300 per shift
- Shift Hours: 8:00pm – 8:00am
- Travel & Accommodation: Covered upon hospital approval

Available Shifts
All shifts commence at 8:00pm and finish at 8:00am the following morning.

- Sunday 27 December 2026
- Monday 28 December 2026
- Tuesday 29 December 2026
- Wednesday 30 December 2026
- Thursday 31 December 2026
- Friday 1 January 2027
- Saturday 2 January 2027
- Sunday 3 January 2027

Potential Earnings

- $3,300 per shift




- $29,700 for all nine shifts , if booked for the full advertised period

About the Opportunity
Support the Emergency Department team at Inverell Hospital during the busy holiday period, providing emergency medical care and working alongside the hospital’s clinical team.
Requirements

- Current AHPRA medical registration
- Relevant emergency medicine experience at GP VMO level
- Ability to work independently within an Emergency Department
- Ability to meet hospital credentialing and compliance requirements
- Availability for one or more of the advertised shifts
