About the Role

You'll be responsible for maintaining our gardens, lawns, outdoor learning spaces, and assisting with general maintenance tasks around the school. Your work will help create a protected, welcoming, and attractive environment for our students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

- Gardening, weeding, pruning, and general landscape maintenance
- Lawn mowing, edging, and upkeep of outdoor areas
- Maintaining tidy and safe grounds across the campus
- Minor repairs and general handyperson duties
- Assisting with basic maintenance tasks as required
- Identifying and reporting maintenance issues
- Other duties as directed by the People, Operations and Compliance Manager

About You

- Experience in gardening, grounds maintenance, or general maintenance work
- Experience using gardening and grounds maintenance equipment such as mowers, whipper snippers, and hedge trimmers
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
- A proactive approach and strong attention to detail
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- A current Working with Children Check and Police Check (or willingness to obtain these)
- Current Victorian driver's licence preferred

What We Offer

- Permanent Part-Time position
- ASAP start
- $30 - $35 per hour, depending on experience, plus superannuation
- Approximately 4-6 hours per week, spread across 3 or more days

This position would ideally suit someone living locally who is available to work a few hours across several days each week. The role reports directly to the People, Operations and Compliance Manager.
