Electrical, Power Utility & Rail Sector An exciting opportunity to lead Cembre's growth across Australia Cembre is expanding its presence across Australia, and we're looking for an ambitious, commercially driven Area Sales Manager to spearhead our growth journey. This is a unique opportunity to establish and develop our market presence across Melbourne, Queensland, Victoria, New South Wales, Sydney and wider Australian territories, building on an existing customer base while creating new opportunities across the Electrical, Power Utility and Rail sectors. This role offers the chance to operate as the face of Cembre in Australia, combining technical expertise, relationship building and business development to create long-term success. With the support of our experienced UK team and Global Group resources, you'll have the autonomy to shape the market, influence strategy and drive significant business growth.

About the Role
You will be responsible for helping to develop and executing Cembre's Australian growth strategy, identifying new business opportunities, supporting existing customers, and establishing robust partnerships with distributors, contractors, utilities, consultants and end users. You will act as both a technical sales specialist and business development leader, helping customers identify solutions while building a sustainable pipeline of projects and opportunities. What You'll Be Doing
• Expanding Cembre's presence across the Australian Electrical, Utility, Power and Rail markets.
• Developing new business opportunities while growing existing customer relationships.
• Managing and supporting key accounts to increase market share and customer loyalty.
• Building and developing distributor partnerships across Australia.
• Delivering technical product demonstrations,



training and application support.
• Working with consultants, engineers and project stakeholders to secure product specifications.
• Identifying opportunities within major infrastructure, utilities and rail projects.
• Attending industry exhibitions, customer events and networking activities.
• Monitoring market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities.
• Maintaining accurate sales forecasts, CRM records and business development plans. What We're Looking For
• Proven success in technical sales, business development or account management.
• Experience within the Electrical, Power Utility, Rail or Industrial sectors.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and convert opportunities.
• Confidence engaging with contractors, utilities, consultants and decision-makers.
• Technical aptitude with the ability to demonstrate and explain product solutions.
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable working autonomously.
• Strong relationship-building, negotiation and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively within Australia.
