Role Overview We are seeking an experienced EHS professional to oversee environmental, health and safety compliance and risk management across Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Australia and New Zealand. The role will translate Group EHS standards into effective local practices, support safe operations and field service activities, and strengthen regional EHS performance. Hands-on EHS experience in Australia and/or New Zealand is essential.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead regional EHS compliance and risk management, ensuring alignment with applicable local requirements and Group standards.
• Monitor regulatory developments across the region, including Australian state and territory workplace safety and environmental requirements and New Zealand’s Health and Safety at Work framework. Adapt Group EHS policies to local operations and maintain valid licences, permits and registrations.
• Conduct site inspections and risk assessments; oversee high-risk activities, chemical lifecycle management, environmental reporting, applicable National Pollutant Inventory (NPI) submissions, emergency preparedness, incident investigations and corrective action closure.
• Liaise with regulators, external auditors and certification bodies. Coordinate internal EHS audits, regulatory inspections, licence applications and renewals, and certification assessments.
• Oversee ionising radiation safety associated with medical equipment installation, servicing and maintenance, including radiation protection, personal dosimetry, personnel authorisations and applicable radiation licences.
• Maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems, consolidate regional EHS performance data, and support ESG and CDP data collection and disclosures.
• Deliver local EHS training, implement contractor safety requirements, organise emergency drills and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Develop practical EHS processes,



records and controls that support consistent implementation across multiple jurisdictions.
• Undertake other related responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent overseas qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least four years of hands-on EHS experience in manufacturing operations within Australia, Current Zealand, Hong Kong, Macau and/or Taiwan. Practical local experience in Australia and/or Current Zealand is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of Australian and New Zealand workplace health and safety frameworks, environmental regulation, discharge and emissions permitting, hazardous waste management and GHS-based chemical management.
• Sound understanding of differences between Australian state and territory requirements, as well as officers’ due diligence obligations under New Zealand’s health and safety framework.
• Working knowledge of EHS and relevant employment legislation in Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan; familiarity with Japan and South Korea is also expected.
• Experience managing regulatory inspections, permit applications and renewals, corrective actions, and manufacturing-site EHS records. Ability to assess jurisdiction-specific requirements and translate them into practical controls.
• Familiarity with Australian and New Zealand radiation protection frameworks, relevant ARPANSA standards and guidance, and medical radiation requirements in Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. Medical equipment industry experience involving radiation safety is preferred.
• Fluent English, with the ability to independently engage with Group headquarters, regulators and external organisations, and prepare clear EHS reports and compliance documentation.
• Ability to independently manage EHS responsibilities across multiple countries and territories, prioritise competing requirements and travel within the region.
