NSW Orchard Hills We are currently seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Female Disability Support Worker to join our team and provide person-centred support to an NDIS participant in Orchard Hills, NSW.

About The Role
As a Disability Support Worker, you will:
• Provide person-centred support to an NDIS participant with complex support needs.
• Assist with personal care, community access, and daily living activities.
• Support the participant to achieve their goals and maintain independence.
• Provide support in a calm, patient, and professional manner, particularly when working with complex behaviours or support requirements.
• Build positive, respectful, and trusting relationships with the participant.
• Follow individual support plans, behaviour support strategies, and relevant care instructions.
• Maintain accurate shift notes, progress notes, and incident reports.
• Work collaboratively with families, support coordinators, managers, and other members of the participant’s support team.
• Follow all relevant NDIS policies, procedures, safeguarding requirements, and workplace health and safety standards. Preferred Experience
• Previous experience in Disability Support, Aged Care, or Community Care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A compassionate, patient, and respectful approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience supporting participants with personal care and daily living activities is highly regarded. Mandatory Requirements
• NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Working With Children Check (WWCC).
• National Police Check.
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
• Valid Australian Driver Licence and reliable vehicle.
• Full working rights in Australia.
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate – Quality,
