At least a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or a higher qualification in a relevant field; A minimum of three years of relevant practical experience working as a Cook in the hospitality industry; The ability to work effectively in a rapid-paced and busy kitchen environment; and A reliable, passionate and self-motivated approach to work. About the Role

This is a

full-time

position working

38 hours per week . As a Cook, your duties and responsibilities will include:



Preparing ingredients and food items prior to the opening of the restaurant; Checking the quantity, quality and freshness of ingredients and food supplies; Preparing and cooking food using appropriate cooking equipment in accordance with customer orders and any special dietary requirements; Portioning, plating and presenting dishes to the required standard; Properly storing ingredients and food products after use and minimising food wastage; Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in food preparation and cooking areas; Assisting with the training of other kitchen staff when required; and Complying with company policies, food safety requirements and workplace procedures.
