Aspire Melbourne is looking for a motivated Maintenance Technician who thrives in a quick-paced hospitality environment and takes pride in a job well done, efficiently and safely.

This is a part time or full time position and offered on a variety of shifts across a 7-day roster between 7:00am to 5:00pm. Availability to work weekends and public holidays is essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks across the property, including basic plumbing, patching/painting, and general handyman work
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and identify and address any issues or concerns
- Carry out regular preventative maintenance checks and implement proactive solutions to prevent future problems
- Assist with the set-up and maintenance of property amenities and equipment,



including daily pool maintenance, ensuring they are in top working condition
- Collaborate with the housekeeping, front office teams & external contractors to maintain the overall presentation of the resort
- Adhere to all health & safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Who We’re Looking For

- A people person with natural warmth, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic to join an alreadyamazing team culture.
- Demonstrable experience in a similar maintenance or handyperson role, preferably within the hospitality or tourism industry
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and remedy a wide range of maintenance issues
- Proficiency in the use of various hand tools and equipment, along with the knowledge to carry out both skilled and general maintenance tasks
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and resort guests
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- The ability to work independently & unsupervised. Varying shifts including weekends
