Registered Nurse - Recovery and Anaesthetics

Lake Macquarie Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Catheter Laboratory team on a permanent, full-time basis.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a highly specialised service, providing care to patients undergoing a range of interventional cardiac procedures. The successful applicants will work within the Anaesthetics & Recovery component of the Cardiac Catheter Laboratory, delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centred care before, during and following procedures. Comprehensive orientation, education and competency-based training will be provided to support successful applicants in strengthening the knowledge and skills required for the role.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will be a positive and effective team player with excellent clinical and interpersonal skills. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and provide patient focused care.

- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum 12 months recent acute clinical experience.
- Critical Care, Perioperative or Anaesthetic/Recovery experience is essential.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
- Willingness to complete all required education and competency assessments for the role.




- Flexibility to participate in the Cardiac Catheter Laboratory roster, including on-call requirements where applicable.

Remuneration

On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from$40.24 - $56.52+ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW RN/Midwife gr1-gr8)
