We are recruiting Registered Midwives for ongoing full-time and part time opportunitiesrotating across all maternity areas within our tertiary maternity service.

About the Role

As a Registered Midwife at Monash Medical Centre, you will provide safe, evidence-based and individualised care to women and families throughout their maternity journey.

Working within a busy tertiary environment, you will care for women with diverse clinical needs, from uncomplicated pregnancies through to complex and high-risk maternity presentations.

You will work alongside experienced midwives, obstetricians, neonatal specialists and multidisciplinary teams, contributing to a consistent, gold standard of maternity care that places women and families at the centre of everything we do.

About You

We are looking for motivated Registered Midwives who are passionate about delivering exceptional maternity care and contributing to a positive, supportive team culture.

You will bring:

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife.




- Recent experience working within an acute maternity environment.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- The ability to recognise, respond to and escalat clinical deterioration.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to evidence-based, culturally safe and woman-centred care.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster.

Experience in high-risk maternity care or a tertiary environment will be highly regarded.
