Equine Stable Solutions specialises in metal roofing, ground-up shed construction, arena builds and custom stable fit-outs for farmers, rural property owners and equine clients across South East Queensland.

We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on and motivated Shed & Metal Roofing Installer to join our team. If you have experience in metal roofing, shed construction or a related trade, enjoy working outdoors and take pride in quality workmanship, we’d love to hear from you

About the role

This is a diverse, hands-on position working across a range of rural, agricultural and equine projects. From installing metal roofing and assembling complete shed kits to constructing sheds and arenas from the ground up, you'll be involved in delivering quality structures and facilities for our customers.

Work is based across South East Queensland, both local and sometimes remote, so the successful applicant must be comfortable travelling to different project locations and occasionally working away from home.

Key responsibilities

- Installing metal roofing and associated components.
- Assembling and installing complete shed kits.
- Assisting with or undertaking ground-up shed construction and arena builds.
- Installing horse stables, reliable fit-outs and equine facilities.
- Working across rural, agricultural and equine properties.
- Using hand and power tools to complete installations safely and efficiently.
- Working independently and as part of a team to deliver quality results.
- Maintaining a safe, tidy and professional worksite.
- Travelling to project locations throughout South East Queensland.

What we're looking for





- Previous experience in metal roofing, shed installation, steel construction or a related trade.
- Practical trade skills and confidence using hand and power tools.
- Your own essential tools, with additional tools and equipment supplied by the business as required.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Reliability, attention to detail and pride in your workmanship.
- A willingness to travel throughout South East Queensland and occasionally work away from home.
- The ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- A current, full driver's licence.

Desirable, but not essential

- Relevant trade qualifications, licences or tickets.
- Experience operating small machinery and equipment, such as skid steers, mini excavators, boom lifts, scissor lifts or telehandlers or similar.
- Experience in ground-up shed construction, arena builds or equine facilities.

We're happy to consider someone with the right attitude, practical skills and willingness to learn, even if they don't have every ticket or qualification.
