Our client, a Federal Government entity is seeking a General Finance Officer.

About the role - General Finance Officer

Maintain sound financial administration and provide accurate, timely information to support project delivery and governance.

Duties - General Finance Officer

- Support month-end and year-end activities, including accruals, reporting and timely resolution of discrepancies
- Assist with preparing, monitoring and reporting budgets, forecasts and financial performance information
- Analyse expenditure trends to support project planning and decision-making

Skills / Experience - General Finance Officer

- Experience in financial administration, budgeting, reporting, reconciliations and procurement support




- Experience working in an education and training portfolio
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to investigate and resolve financial discrepancies
