Sounds Right Speech Pathology – Bundoora VIC

Speech Pathologists -

*Part-time positions with flexible hours and a hybrid working model

We’re looking for Speech Pathologists with 2+ years of paediatric experience to join our team.

This role is ideal for Speech Pathologists who are looking for a paediatric caseload and are passionate about delivering high-quality, client-centred therapy alongside a large team of motivated and caring Speech Pathologists. The positions can be based at either our Bundoora or Greensborough clinic. Saturday work is also available but not essential.

Our ideal candidate would be someone who thrives off a paediatric caseload, is motivated, organised, believes in life long learning and able to manage familiar and routine pediatric client responsibilities independently.

About SRSP

Sounds Right Speech Pathology is a well-established paediatric clinic with two purpose-built clinics in Melbourne’s northern suburbs. We deliver evidence-based intervention to children and their families through 1:1 clinic based sessions, Telehealth sessions and Group Programs. Our large team of speech pathologists brings together a diverse range of experience, backgrounds and clinical expertise, enabling us to support individuals with a wide variety of diagnoses, needs and neurotypes.

Our clients are a healthy mix of NDIS and privately funded families,

meaning our clinicians aren’t always bogged down in excessive NDIS paperwork and can focus more of their time on clinical work.

As a clinic we pride ourself in supervision, access to support and lifelong learning through supervision, coaching, daily drop in times, team learning, journal clubs, team projects and individual professional development budgets.

About the Role:

- Location: Based at either our Bundoora or Greensborough clinic, with the opportunity to work across local schools, kindergartens and childcare settings. No home visits.

- Employment: 0.4 to 0.8 part-time with WFH options.

- Days: The successful candidate will be able to work with us to select their preferred days across Monday - Saturday, based on client and operational needs.

- Hours: Client-facing hours can be negotiated based on your preferences, experience and operational needs. Optional Saturday work (8am–12pm) is available with additional remuneration. Additional leave can be purchased outside of school terms.

- Caseload: A diverse paediatric caseload from early childhood through to 18 years, with a healthy mix of privately funded and NDIS clients.

- Clinical areas: Speech, language, early intervention, phonology, social communication, literacy and AAC.

- Therapy model: Neuroaffirming, client-centred practice including 45-minute 1:1 sessions, parent coaching and group programs.

- Start date: Flexible.

Why Join Us?

- Market-leading salary + up to *$3,000 PD budget and 2 days paid PD leave annually (pro-rata)

- Achievable, capped caseloads: Our clinicians typically see 4-5 individual clients per day with a billable weekly target of 25 units (additional units applied for travel to clients), built-in admin time and bonus options for exceeding targets.

- Structured flexibility & WFH options: Complete suitable non-client-facing work from home, with dedicated admin time and clear boundaries that support sustainable, long-term careers and out of work commitments.

- On-site supervision & support: 1:1 supervision, peer supervision and drop-in support with experienced Speech Pathologists available across the week.

- Dedicated on-site admin support for scheduling, caseload management and invoicing.

- Mix of on-site and off-site work: Whilst we are primarily clinic-based there are some opportunities to work across our established school, kindergarten and childcare partnerships, whilst maintaining the support and connection of a dedicated home clinic.

- Career progression pathways for clinicians interested in taking the next step with their career.

- A reliable workplace: Established in 2011, with a strong reputation, consistent referral base and a secure future in a changing market.

- A connected team: Regular team socials, celebrations, professional development events and easy day-to-day connection (both in person and online) with your team.
