Ally Australia Pty Ltd is seeking Female Disability Support Workers Near Sunbury,VIC and Rowville,VIC to join our Supported Independent Living (SIL) team in Sunbury, VIC. This is a casual position offering flexible work opportunities to support individuals with disabilities in their daily lives. You will play a vital role in enabling our clients to achieve greater independence, build community connections, and enhance their quality of life. This position is fundamental to delivering person-centred care and support that empowers people with disabilities to live meaningful lives within their communities.

Key responsibilities

Provide direct personal care and support to clients living in Supported Independent Living arrangements, including assistance with daily activities such as hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation

Support clients in developing and maintaining independent living skills through coaching and mentoring

Assist clients with community participation, social activities, and building meaningful relationships within their local area

Support clients in managing appointments, attending medical services, and maintaining their health and wellbeing

Maintain accurate and timely records of client support activities and progress

Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, including case managers and other support workers, to ensure holistic care delivery

Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment that respects client dignity and privacy

Communicate effectively with clients,



families, and team members regarding support needs and outcomes

Adhere to all organisational policies, procedures, and relevant legislation governing disability support services

What we're looking for

Passion for supporting people with disabilities and a genuine commitment to person-centred care

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members

Physical capability to provide hands-on support and personal care assistance where required

Reliability, punctuality, and a professional approach to casual work commitments

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Current working with children check (or willingness to obtain) if supporting young people

Current disability worker induction certificate or willingness to complete upon commencement

Resilience and emotional intelligence when supporting individuals facing challenges

Relevant qualifications or formal training in disability support, aged care, or community services (preferred)

First aid certification (preferred but not essential)





A valid driver's licence and reliable transport (advantageous for the Sunbury location)
