We're Hiring: Marketing Director, Australia (Growth)
Location: Australia - Hybrid
Department: Marketing | Growth
Reports to: Chief Growth Operations & Automation Officer
Help us put Buildxact in front of more builders across Australia.
We're looking for a Marketing Director, Australia (Growth) who knows how to turn great marketing into real business growth.
At Buildxact, we're all about making life easier for residential builders and trades. Our software helps builders spend less time buried in paperwork and more time doing what they do best: building.
Now, we're looking for someone to help us take that story further.
This isn't a role where you'll spend your days writing strategies that sit in a presentation deck. We're after someone who can think big, roll up their sleeves, move fast and make things happen.
You'll own our Australian growth marketing efforts, getting Buildxact in front of builders who haven't heard of us yet, creating campaigns that actually resonate and turning that attention into meaningful pipeline.
If you're equal parts strategic thinker, creative marketer and hands‑on doer, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Be Doing
Own growth marketing across Australia
- Build and execute integrated marketing campaigns that reach builders, contractors and trades.
- Own performance across social media, website, email, content, paid media, events and partnerships.
- Manage paid search and social campaigns, continuously testing and optimising performance.
- Set measurable growth targets and track what matters: reach, leads, conversions and pipeline.
Make our social presence impossible to ignore
- Lead our Australian social strategy across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
- Create engaging, relevant content that speaks to builders in their language.
- Find new ways to grow our audience, spark conversations and build genuine connections within the industry.
- Bring fresh ideas, creativity and personality to our brand.
Build relationships with creators and industry influencers
- Identify and partner with influential builders, tradespeople and content creators.
- Own influencer campaigns from initial outreach through to execution and measuring results.
- Build long‑term relationships and a genuine network of Buildxact advocates.
- Work alongside our industry partners and enterprise team to expand our reach.
Turn our website into a growth engine
- Own website performance, including messaging, conversion optimisation and SEO.
- Manage our external website partners and prioritise improvements.
- Run experiments that improve the customer journey and drive measurable results.
Bring our product story to life
- Work closely with Product to understand what's new, what's changing and why it matters to builders.
- Translate current features into compelling,
easy‑to‑understand messages.
- Create launch campaigns and assets that Sales, Customer Experience and our global marketing teams can put straight to work.
- Keep our market excited and informed about what Buildxact is doing next.
Work smarter with AI and automation
- Build and improve marketing workflows using CRM, email automation and AI‑powered tools.
- Find opportunities to eliminate repetitive tasks and help our team move faster.
- Experiment with new technology, share what works and continuously improve how we operate.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who has the experience to own the role, the curiosity to keep learning and the confidence to get things moving.
Ideally, you'll have:
- 8+ years of marketing experience, with a strong background in growth marketing across multiple channels.
- Demonstrated success delivering campaigns that generate measurable leads, engagement and revenue opportunities.
- Experience working with influencers, creators or brand ambassadors, ideally within construction, building or trades.
- A strong understanding of digital marketing, including paid media, social, SEO, email and conversion optimisation.
- Hands‑on experience with marketing automation platforms such as Marketo, HubSpot, Zapier, Make or similar tools.
- The ability to turn complex product features into simple, compelling stories that resonate with customers.
- Strong commercial instincts, a data‑driven mindset and the ability to adapt quickly.
- A tertiary qualific
