The company you’ll join
This business is an award-winning SaaS provider in workplace safety and compliance, helping organisations with large, complex facilities meet their emergency preparedness and training obligations.
- Its platform is trusted by leading hospitals, aged care providers, universities, government departments and national retail chains, with more than a third of the ASX Top 50 already customers.
- Compliance with AS 3745-2010, state building fire safety regulations and WHS legislation is built into the product, so in many markets it is the only genuine option. That makes for a far more winnable sell, and a conversation buyers already need to have.
- Backed by a leading Australian private equity firm and established for more than 15 years, the business is on track to triple its ANZ revenue over the next 18 months.
- The go-to-market engine is being rebuilt under a recently appointed Chief Growth Officer, with real investment going into people, ICP, playbooks, territory planning and tooling. A new Sales Manager is joining to lead the team.
- A major new product is launching with beta customers already signed, giving early sellers fresh revenue to go after.
- The culture is the reason people stay. The team is humble, service minded and backs each other, and the business hires on values as much as results.
The impact you’ll make
- You’ll own an allocated territory and curated account list, running a full sales cycle from first meeting through to close.
- You’ll lead with the evacuation diagram platform, staying anchored to fire compliance as the core reason to buy, then attaching training and additional modules where the deal has room to grow.
- Deals typically sit between $10k and $49k ACV on one to three month cycles,
so you’ll close every month and see your results quickly.
- Your buyers are Facilities Managers, WHS Officers, Operations Managers and Property Managers across retail, commercial property, councils, healthcare, education and facilities management. Most can sign off themselves.
- You’ll work steady inbound lead flow alongside your own outbound, supported by HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Firmable and an AI account planning and call recording platform.
- Larger opportunities move up to the Enterprise team, and the role is built as a genuine pathway into Enterprise sales for those who perform.
- You’ll be based in Melbourne on a hybrid pattern, with regular paid travel to the Brisbane head office early on to build relationships with the team.
The experience you’ll bring
- Three or more years in B2B sales, ideally with SaaS in your last two roles.
- A track record of building your own pipeline through outbound, not just working inbound, and the numbers to show what you’ve closed.
- Experience running multi-stage deals with more than one stakeholder, rather than one call transactional sales.
- The curiosity to properly understand a buyer’s world, and the ability to explain a compliance product in plain language a non-technical buyer will follow.
- Grounded and coachable. You care more about winning as a team than about your own name on the leaderboard.
- Any exposure to compliance, WHS, safety, facilities, property or HR buyers is a real advantage, though not essential.
What's in it for you
- 6 figure base plus super, with uncapped tiered commission.
- 12 extra days off per year (one flexi day per month).
- A explicit fast track into Enterprise sales as the business scales.
- The chance to join early in a well funded growth phase, with the backing, tools and leadership to do your best work.
