We’re partnering with a well-established CPA practice on the Gold Coast to find a Business Services Accountant to join its team. Whether you’re an Intermediate Accountant ready to step up or a Senior looking for a fresh challenge, the role will be shaped around your experience, with clear scope to take on more as you grow.
The Role
Reporting to the Director, you’ll look after a diverse portfolio of small and medium-sized business clients across a broad mix of industries.
- Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and SMSFs
- Preparing BAS and IAS
- Working on Division 7A, CGT and FBT matters
- Managing client relationships and day-to-day queries
- Working across wide-ranging and at times complex client matters as part of a supportive team
About You
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in an Australian public practice firm (essential)
- Degree in Accounting, Commerce or Business
- CA or CPA completed or underway (preferred)
- Working knowledge of Division 7A, CGT and FBT
- Xero experience, with Handisoft a bonus
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, detail-focused approach
